We are a Christian community guided by the Catholic Franciscan tradition, built upon the values of love, faith, peace and justice through mercy.
We strive to share the love of Christ on our campuses and in our community through liturgy, service, and fellowship
As a community of faith, we strive to become aware of our Sacred Scripture, the Catholic Church’s Tradition, and contemporary Catholic teachings.
We believe we are all children of God and seek to share together our struggles and joys.

Spiritual Opportunities
St. Joseph University Ministry is a Catholic Ministry that provides spiritual guidance and fellowship to the students, faculty, and staff of the university. Our mission is to foster a community of faith through prayer, worship, and service - helping individuals in their journey of faith and growth.

Service
SJUM offers various opportunities to serve through the parish's food pantry, day of service events, drives for local charities, and even a yearly mission trip! We encourage students to be on the lookout for new ways to help the Terre Haute community. You can also serve at our parish liturgies. We are always looking for lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, cantors, and hospitality ministers at St. Joseph University Parish.
